Acceptance
By using the 5500RADAR website or application, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept them for that organization. A signed subscription, pilot or data agreement controls if it conflicts with these public terms.
The service
5500RADAR organizes public Form 5500 filings and available attachments, connects records across years and presents research, benchmarking and workflow tools. The service is pre-launch and may change as features and data coverage are validated.
Professional judgment remains yours
5500RADAR provides informational research tools. It is not a law firm, accounting firm, audit opinion, tax adviser, investment adviser, plan administrator or substitute for reviewing the governing plan documents and current authority.
The public audit screen is a preliminary defined-contribution-plan screen. It separates filing category from the small-plan audit waiver, but it cannot evaluate every plan type, exemption, asset, bond, disclosure or factual circumstance. Confirm the screening result and the plan’s actual facts with a qualified ERISA professional before filing or deciding whether to engage an independent qualified public accountant.
Acceptable use
You may use the public website for ordinary business evaluation and the application as authorized for your account. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt or overload the service, introduce malicious code, access another user’s data, misrepresent your identity, or use the service unlawfully. Separate written terms may govern bulk access, exports or automated use.
Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your login method and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe an account or authentication method has been compromised. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or legal compliance.
Public sources and third parties
Government filings may be late, amended, incomplete, inconsistently prepared or incorrectly submitted. 5500RADAR may normalize or derive fields, but the filed source remains the controlling public record. Links to DOL, EBSA, EFAST2 and other third-party sites are provided for convenience; those services control their own content and availability.
Ownership
Public government records remain subject to their applicable legal status. The 5500RADAR software, design, organization, derived fields, documentation and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only the limited right to use the service as described here.
Disclaimers and limits
The website and pre-launch service are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every filing, attachment, derivation or link is complete, current or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, 5500RADAR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the public website or reliance on its informational tools. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.
Changes
We may update the service or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an additional notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
