Design partner program · pre-launch

Put the evidence through real professional review.

5500RADAR is inviting a small cohort of employee benefit plan practitioners to test the product against public filing records and the questions they know best. This is product development—not an endorsement, client relationship, or substitute for professional judgment.

  • Public records only
  • About one hour monthly
  • No purchase obligation
  • No automatic attribution

Cohort fit

Built for practitioners who will challenge the result.

The useful review is not “Do you like it?” It is whether the source was read correctly, the derivation is supportable, the boundary is visible, and the next professional step is clear.

Good fit when04 conditions
  1. 01

You work directly with benefit-plan filings or with professionals who rely on them.

  2. 02

You can bring concrete workflow questions without sharing confidential client or participant information.

  3. 03

You are willing to challenge source interpretation and derivation logic—not only request features.

  4. 04

You are comfortable reviewing pre-launch functionality that may change.

The working cycle

One question. One source trail. One clear correction loop.

The review stays attached to the public record so disagreement can be resolved at the source instead of becoming another unsourced product opinion.

  1. 01

    Bring one question

Select a plan or filing pattern from the public record and name the professional decision it informs.

    Question defined
  2. 02

    Trace the evidence

Follow the return, filed attachment, plan year, and derivation that support the product result.

    Source visible
  3. 03

    Challenge the result

Identify where the interpretation, workflow, or stated boundary is wrong, missing, or difficult to reproduce.

    Review recorded
  4. 04

    Close the loop

Accepted corrections are documented. Product-priority decisions are explained; participation does not promise that every request will be built.

    Decision returned

Working agreement

The exchange, stated before access.

01 / You receive

Controlled early access and visible reasoning.

  • Available pre-launch functionality appropriate to the review.
  • Source-visible derivations and the limits attached to them.
  • Direct contact with the person responsible for product reasoning and priorities.
  • Visibility into accepted corrections and material changes.
02 / We ask

Specific, candid professional review.

  • Approximately one 60-minute review each month.
  • Concrete, non-confidential examples drawn from real professional questions.
  • Feedback about what is wrong, missing, or difficult to reproduce.
  • Respect for the program’s public-record-only data boundary.

Ground rules

Participation is not an endorsement.

There is no purchase obligation, exclusivity, or automatic public attribution. Pre-launch functionality may change as review exposes better answers.

Data
The program does not request or accept participant-level census, payroll, beneficiary, health, or account data. Do not submit confidential client lists through the public form.
Attribution
No firm name, logo, quote, or case study is used without separate written approval for that specific use. Approval may be withdrawn for future use.
Commercial terms
No obligation to buy. Any future commercial terms are separate from design-partner participation.
Product change
Feedback informs prioritization. It does not give any participant control over roadmap order or guarantee that a request will ship.

Professional boundary

The public filing can support a better review. It cannot replace one.

5500RADAR organizes public filing evidence and presents review signals. It cannot inspect an auditor’s workpapers, determine whether an audit complied with GAAS, render an audit opinion, or decide whether a plan is compliant. A standard ERISA section 103(a)(3)(C) audit is normal scope context, not an audit-quality defect. Professional judgment remains with the practitioner.

Apply to the cohort

Bring one public plan record and one question.

The application asks for business contact details, your role, and the question you want to examine. It does not create an account or guarantee cohort placement.

Do not submit participant, census, payroll, beneficiary, health, account, or confidential client-list data.
